It feels like yesterday when I was combing Chinatown looking for the new location for our new shop. I remember when I first came up to this place and noticed the little skate transitions I said to myself “this is the spot”.   It’s fate that I would pick a store front that has transition on the front.

I really liked the huge windows as well as the location. It has a bit of Chinatown and Little Italy all rolled up into one.  Before we opened, Kevin and I worked with the contractors and there was mad dust everywhere.

Once everything was built we had a list of heads that rolled through and gave us support from Pro BMXer’s to Pro Skaters to Actors and just plain friends who have been down for our shop and what it is that we are doing.

In March, we had a NCAA Bracket contest to win a bike. The winner was a 17-year-old kid named Stephen he was so excited when he got the bike that he didn’t want to change a thing he just wanted to get out of the shop just in case we would change our minds.
